CHERNOMORTEKHFLOT

“Chernomortekhflot” was founded in 1933 as a state dredging company. In 1994 this company became an open joint stock company or OJSC “Chernomortekhflot”. The company has great experience in construction and erecting works, took active participation in construction of many hydraulic constructions in the ports of Odessa, Ilyichevsk, Izmail, Yzhny, Chernomorsk, Pheodosiya, Sevastopol, Mariupol, Kerch, Novorossiysk, Tuapse and other ports. Particularly in the port of Yuzhny practically all berths, protection and shoreprotective constructions were built with participation of “Chernomortekhflot”, water areas were dredged.Considerable scopes of construction and erecting works were performed at shipbuilding and shiprepair facilities in Nikolaev, Odessa, Kherson, Pheodosiya, Kerch, Ilyichevsk etc.

“Chernomortekhflot” participated in installation of hydraulic constructions in deepwater drIllIng platforms shipyard near Baku, transfers of gas pipelines across Danube near Reni, Volga near Bykovo, Tolyatti, Zvenigovo, Dnieper near Kanev and Kremenchug. We have experience in performance of dredging and hydraulic construction works abroad: Burgas and Varna in Bulgaria, port of Berbera in Somali, port of Aden and HodeIdak in Yemen. In 1991-1992 reconstruction of Grain Pier in Mersin, Turkey was completed. In 1992-1993 floating dock pit was dredged in Tuzla, Istanbul together with this dock installation. In 1997-1998 “Chernomortekhflot” dredged two trenches for cooling water intake pipelines for two power stations in Marmara Eregli. Great volume of dredging works was performed in the ports of La Plata and Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1998 our specialists participated in construction of oil terminal in Supsa area, Georgia.

OJSC “Chernomortekhflot” has a modern dredging fleet and movable seagoing craft for hydraulic construction works; for dredging approach channels, waterways, port water areas, pits and trenches.

Chernomortekhflot have 5 multi-bucket dredgers, Including one for hard rock dredging; one front shovel dipper dredger and a suction hopper trailing dredger. All the dredging convoys include also 2-3 selfpropelled sand carriers/hoppers, depending on distance to the disposal area, anchor handling tug 300 b.h.p; a diving boat and survey team.

For berths construction we can use the following craft:
• universal pile-driver, built in Japan;
• floating cranes of 16,25 and 100 tons lifting capacity;
• barges of 1000 tons loading capacity;
• diving boats with qualified divers having a great experience in hydraulic and underwater construction works;
• sea-going tugs 1350, 750 and 300 b.h.p
